How It's Made

Each Visala mirror is crafted using a traditional sandcasting technique. This process begins with shaping and moulding sand by hand to form a cavity for molten aluminium. Once poured and cooled, the aluminium takes on its distinctive textured finish. Almost all materials used in this method are recyclable, making it an inherently circular and low-waste process. The mirror is then finished by hand and assembled with sturdy brass-toned fittings for lasting function and style.
Care Instructions

To care for your mirror, we recommend regularly wiping with a microfiber cloth in a circular motion. Please do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
