Jute is a core material for nkuku - we love the way the natural fibres add a raw and rustic look to our designs. The shade has been thoughtfully designed so that light emits gently through the loose weave of the fabric, allowing for a diffuse glow to fill the room. The neutral tones of the jute gives a relaxed, laid-back aesthetic that is wonderfully versatile and has been designed to match all our nkuku table and floor lamps. It is colourfast so will not fade over time. Available in multiple sizes.

It is a durable material designed to last, it is also colourfast, and when woven, makes the perfect material for structural pieces. For this shade, hand-woven jute threads are intricately wrapped around a metal frame, creating a stunning piece that beautifully showcases sustainability and the beauty of the natural world.
Care Instructions
To care for your lampshade, we recommend always handling the item by it's fitting, rather than the fabric. Regularly wipe the lampshade gently with a microfibre cloth.
