How It's Made

Jute is a great natural material that we love to use as it is a rain-fed crop that has little need for fertiliser or pesticides and is fast-growing, taking only 4-6 months from planting to harvest. It is a natural vegetable fibre that can be spun into strong and durable threads that are then woven into a strong and sturdy fabric that is perfect for structural pieces. Durable and designed to last, it is also colourfast. These baskets are hand sculpted from iron and then a brass finish is applied to the frame. The jute string is hand woven around the frame to create a sturdy and eye-catching finish, creating a stunning piece that beautifully showcases sustainability and the beauty of the natural world.
Care Instructions

To care for your basket, we recommend using a soft-bristle brush to regularly remove any build up of dust. Indoor use only.
