Sophisticated and stylish, the Triveni side table is made from solid mango wood with a rich walnut stain that highlights and deepens the natural character of the grain. The circular design lends itself perfectly to smaller spaces, and would look elegant on either side of a sofa or a bed; it would also work well next to a favourite armchair in a reading nook, or in a small hallway as an occasional table. Beautifully hand-carved with a simple yet sturdy silhouette and a useful base shelf, the top table has an elegant raised edge – a considered design detail that is useful as well as aesthetic. This table is handmade from mango wood, then a walnut stain is applied which highlights the natural beauty of the grain while giving a deeper, darker finish to the wood. Mango wood is a by-product of mango farming. Mango trees are initially grown for their fruit, and harvested over a number of years, then once the trees have stopped bearing fruit, they are cut down to allow farmers to plant more trees. Selling the waste material also provides the farmers with a supplementary income.
Your furniture has been finished with a beautiful rich stain and treated with a sealant to help protect it. To maintain the beauty of this product and prolong its life we recommend following a few simple steps. Wipe surfaces regularly with a soft dry cloth to remove dust and moisture. Mild soap and water can be used for cleaning but take care not to use excess water as this will damage the grain and the stain finish. Clean up spills immediately to prevent damage from liquids or staining. Soak up spills with a dry paper cloth, wipe with a damp lint free cloth and dry immediately. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials as these may damage the wood. Avoid placing wet items directly on to the surface. Use coasters and mats for protection.
