Crafted from durable stainless steel with a laquered finish, they are designed to resist moisture and steam, ensuring long-lasting use while their soft, organic shapes add a subtle, spa-like touch to any bathroom. This piece is made using the traditional sandcast process with stainless steel. The process involves preparing a mould from sand and heating the stainless steel until it liquifies. The molten stainless steel is then poured into the mould, and, on cooling, the cast stainless steel piece is removed. Sandcast has low dimensional accuracy which results in a rough surface finish, with irregular organic patination often occurring. The piece is then treated with an antique brass finish.
