Our new Nuwara dinner plate is a generously proportioned bowl with a simple textured patterning inside that draws the eye. The entire Nuwara tableware collection is beautifully understated in style and design with a distinctive mustard glaze offering a timeless splash of earthy colour at mealtimes. The glaze has a distinctly rich and reflective quality, while the hand-etched line design brings a simple and pared-back aesthetic to the table.
Our Nuwara tableware range is made by artisan ceramicists in Vietnam who finish each piece on a wheel to add the distinctive hand-etched line patterning around the edges. They then apply a 'washout' glaze which naturally darkens towards the centre and fades towards the edges. The extreme heat of the kiln brings depth and translucency to the glaze for a rich, reflective finish.
To care for your plates, we recommend washing after every use to prevent staining. Use a mild detergent and do not leave to soak. Handle with care to prevent chipping.
