The mango wood we use is a by-product of mango farming. Mango trees are initially grown for their fruit, and harvested over a number of years, then once the trees have stopped bearing fruit, they are cut down to allow farmers to plant more trees. Selling the waste material also provides the farmers with a supplementary income.
To care for this item, we recommend regularly wiping with a soft, dry cloth. Please do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Due to the nature of the mango wood, the colours may change over time.
