The Edo side plate is designed with both form and function in mind. Its subtle rim and clean silhouette make it well-suited for serving side portions, such as vegetables, breads, or small salads. With a minimalist aesthetic and soft, earthy tones, this stoneware side plate offers a timeless addition to any table setting, blending beautifully with the rest of the Edo collection.
Each piece in the Edo collection is crafted from warm terracotta clay, which provides a natural richness and depth to the form. The surface is then finished with two layers of glaze across both the rim and base, using a carefully adjusted mix to achieve the right reactive response in the kiln. This process allows for subtle variation in tone and texture, resulting in a soft, organic finish that reflects the character of each individual piece.
To care for your side plate, we recommend washing after every use to prevent staining. Use a mild detergent and do not leave to soak. Handle with care to prevent chipping.
