Care Instructions

The cushion cover is removable, suitable for the washing machine on a delicate wash at 30 degrees. Do not tumble dry and note that the colour may fade in direct sunlight. To care for your mango wood wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry immediately. Because it is a tropical plant, mango wood is best suited to humid environments; with daily use in a home with central heating, it can be at risk of drying out if not cared for, which may cause cracking or warping. To take the best care of your mango wood, you can treat it with natural oils that you have on hand at home such as Olive Oil or Walnut Oil, using a soft cloth for application. These oils will nourish, but not permanently soak into the wood, so if you wash them off you must reapply them. Please note adding oil may darken the tone of the wood.
