We love it for being completely biodegradable and recyclable, incredibly efficient to grow, and beautifully hardwearing with a smooth finish. It is a rain-fed crop that has little need for fertilisers or pesticides and as a natural vegetable fibre can be spun into strong and durable threads. Woven on a traditional Indian handloom representing one of India's most ancient crafts, it embodies centuries of heritage.
