Elevating your kitchen counter and pantry cupboard storage to new levels, this beautifully crafted round glass jar with mango wood lid and spoon will add a touch of elegance to your kitchen lineup. Perfect for storing seeds, sprinkles, condiments and breakfast preserves, the soft patina of the glass brings a tactile quality to the piece as does the natural grain of the mango wood.
We use recycled glass to make these jars. Firstly, the waste glass is collected and washed to remove any impurities. It is then crushed and melted down before being moulded and hammered using traditional tools for an irregular patina that gives each piece a unique tactile quality. The lid and spoon are made from mango wood which is a byproduct of the fruit industry. We take the wood once it is no longer bearing fruit and transform it into useful pieces for the home.
To care for your storage jar, we recommend regular cleaning. Hand wash only, using a mild dish soap to clean. Rinse in clean water before gently drying. Use for dry food only.
