If using outdoors, please make sure that rope is not exposed to excessive moisture. The rope provided with this hanging chair is made from natural fibres which are susceptible to environmental factors. To prolong the life of the rope we recommend cleaning rope with warm soapy water. The hanging chair should be installed under a shelter to avoid any rope degradation or mould. We recommend checking the rope on a regular basis. For indoor installation, ensure you have an accessible ceiling joist that is away from walls and other obstacles. Ensure you have plenty of space to hang the chair. Important Safety Information: WARNING! Positioning must be made to the centre of the ceiling joist and not towards the edge. Positioning toward the edge of the ceiling joist will compromise the security of the fixing and potentially lead to injury. WARNING! Ensure that installation is in a place free from draughts and not too close to open flames like fires. WARNING! This chair is for use by one person at a time.
