The mango wood is stained in a dark brown tone with natural variation within the grain. We love working with this material which is a by-product of the mango-growing industry in India and repurposing it to give it a new lease of life. Once the trees are no longer fruitful, they are taken down and we use them to create many of our stylish, eclectic and sustainable furnishings for use throughout the home. These bowls have been hand-etched using traditional methods.
To care for your wood wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry immediately. Due to the natural beauty of these items there may be changes to the colour over time. To nourish and protect the natural wood rub an edible oil such as olive oil or walnut oil into the surface with a dry cloth.
