Crafted from solid mango wood, the Vivan grooved bed is a new addition to the Vivan bedroom range, bringing sculptural simplicity to your space. The headboard features hand-carved vertical grooves that add depth and texture, while a gentle curve along the top edge softens the overall profile. Available in King and Super King sizes, this solid wood bed is a statement piece that remains grounded in craftsmanship and natural materiality.
Each bed is handcrafted from mango wood, a sustainable hardwood known for its rich grain and durability. The grooves on the headboard are individually hand-carved by skilled makers, adding tactile detail and character. Finished by hand and carefully assembled, the Vivan bed showcases the enduring beauty of traditional woodworking techniques.
We treat our furniture with a sealant that will help protect it, but we do recommend care and maintenance to prolong its life and beauty. Wipe surfaces regularly with a soft dry cloth to remove dust and moisture. Mild soap and water can be used for cleaning but take care not to use excess water as this may damage the finish. Always wipe in the direction of the wood grain. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials as this may damage the finish. Take care not to expose your furniture to strong or direct sunlight. Excessive sunlight can cause fading. Extreme heat and humidity changes can cause cracking and splitting. Take care not to place rubber or plastic materials on to the wood finish as chemicals within rubber and plastic can react with the finish if left in contact for a long period. Seek professional advice for any scratches or staining. For the headboard, Use a vacuum cleaner or soft brush to remove surface dust on a regular basis. Always take care not to use a rotating vacuum head as this may damage the fabric fibres. Household dust that becomes ingrained in the surface fibres of your fabric will cause areas of abrasion and reduce the lifespan of your fabric. For small spillages we recommend spot clean only. Initially lift the liquid with an absorbent tissue, then blot the area with a sponge or clean folded towel moistened in lukewarm water. To avoid any water marks, dry the area by blowing warm air from a hair dryer across the surface. Larger, more stubborn stains should be cleaned by a professional.
