We treat our furniture with a sealant that will help protect it, but we do recommend care and maintenance to prolong its life and beauty. Excessive sunlight can cause fading. Extreme heat and humidity changes can cause cracking and splitting. Take care not to place rubber or plastic materials on to the wood finish as chemicals within rubber and plastic can react with the finish if left in contact for a long period. Seek professional advice for any scratches or staining.
