The simplicity of the Khila vase makes it the perfect design for displaying a generous bunch of flowers, allowing the beauty of the blooms to shine through. The wide opening and straight form, together with the pared-back look of the clear glass and the aged metal base creates a timeless piece that looks just as beautiful when not in use.
The base is made from hand-bent metal by artisans in India using traditional methods to create a delicate yet sturdy shape, then an antique brass finish is applied. We use recycled glass to make the vase. Firstly, the waste glass is collected and washed to remove any impurities; it is then crushed and melted down before being mouth blown into a mould to create the required shape.
To care for this item, we recommend regularly wiping with a soft, damp cloth. To clean the item, hand wash only using a mild dish soap and do not leave to soak. Dry immediatly to prevent the metal from rusting. Please do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners as this may damage the finish. Indoor use only.
